ROTELLA® ELC Extended Life
Coolant/Antifreeze is a "fill for life" ethylene glycol based coolant for
heavy-duty diesel, gasoline and natural gas powered engines. The
inhibitors in Shell
ROTELLA®
ELC, due to thier special chemistry, are designed to go 600,000 mile
on-road or 12,000 hours off-road with only one Shell ROTELLA® ELC Extender
addition at 300,000 miles or 6,000 hours. Shell ROTELLA® ELC
patented inhibitors, while providing complete cooling system component
protection, also help reduce water pump failures, hard water scale
deposits, silicate "green goo" and improve heat transfer.

Shell DEX-COOL® Extended Life
Antifreeze/Coolant is a single-phase, ethylene glycol based, extended
life, universal automotive engine coolant based on a unique extended life
carboxylate inhibitor system. Shell
DEX-COOL® is suitable for a five year or
150,000 mile service life in automotive applications. It meets
GM6277M-General Motor’s Extended Life Coolant specification and will
provide effective, long term corrosion protection for critical engine
metals.

Shellzone®
Antifreeze is a superior quality, single phase, ethylene glycol based
antifreeze. It is a low silicate, all-purpose coolant designed for use in
both automotive and heavy duty diesel engines (with the use of SCA’s).
Shellzone®Antifreeze
is specially formulated to meet the stringent aluminum corrosion
protection requirements of today’s automotive engines. Because of its low
concentration of silicate, it also complies with Cummin and other
heavy-duty diesel engine manufacture’s silicate requirements. |

Shell ELC Conversion
Inhibitor Pre-diluted 50/50 is an ethylene glycol/water based corrosion
inhibitor super concentrate (red in color and containing nitrite /
molybdate) designed to facilitate conversion of heavy duty diesel engine
cooling systems from traditional coolant inhibitor technology to ROTELLA™
ELC Coolant inhibitors. Based on patented carboxylate inhibitor
technology, Shell ELC Conversion Inhibitor Pre-diluted 50/50 provides
extended life corrosion protection for all engine metals, including
aluminum, iron, steel, copper, brass and solder alloys. The synergistic
combination of mono- and di-carboxylates in Shell ELC Conversion
Inhibitor has proven to provide superior protection. |

Shell ELC Corrosion
Inhibitor is a heavy duty inhibitor concentrate based on a unique
extended life carboxylate inhibitor system formulated to provide
corrosion protection in aqueous solutions. Mixed with the appropriate
amount of water, this product provides maximum protection of all cooling
system and heat transfer systems metals, including brass, copper,
solder, steel, cast iron and aluminum. Shell ELC Corrosion Inhibitor
requires no inhibitor additions for 32,000 hours or 6 years in
stationary equipment and industrial heat transfer applications. Shell
ELC Corrosion Inhibitor does not contain nitrite, nitrate, phosphate,
borate, amines and silicates. |
